A queen was born

Ms. Douglas was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 'land of enchantment' or so the motto says. As a young pug she dreamed of running off to Vegas and becoming a shadow dancer at Caesar's Palace or perhaps trying out for Pussycat Dolls. Despite hours of practicing 'Don't Cha' in front of her mirror, Ms. Douglas decided perhaps Vegas wasn't for her and refocused her aspirations on being the best damn drag queen pug ever to strut the face of the Earth.

Ms. Douglas currently resides with her pug brother Oates, named after John Oates, and her parents Mike and Jen. She was adopted in 2008 from New Mexico Pug Rescue after her original owners decided they didn't want her after four years. In fact, when they called Pug Rescue they were ready to drop her off at the pound.

Ms. Douglas loves her new home and looks forward to being fabulous and raising awareness about adult dogs across the country that are in need of loving homes. If only her original owners knew that she has blossomed into the most fabulous pug in the country! On second thought, forget them - she's too fabulous to be caught thinking about Debbie Downers!
