About artist Jennifer Marshall
Artist Jennifer Marshall was born and raised in Glenn Dale, MD by a pack a garden gnomes. She went to a college with a turtle as a mascot - very fierce creatures - and graduated with a marketing degree and an itch for the arts.

The day after graduation Jennifer saddled up and rode off into the sunset and ended up
in Chicago. After acquiring a brilliant job where she got paid to drink beer, Jennifer chose to raise the bar and refocus her life's aspirations. Several sweaty-palmed rides later on the El, she landed a job at a leading search engine marketing company in downtown Chicago.

Her year in the 'windy city' was a blur. She hid from sub-degree weather in
local pubs on her way home from work. Her neighborhood, Boystown, sparked her flair for the eccentric and many of the people she met during this period can be found in her paintings. Life's compass wasn't ready to let the dust settle yet...

A long conversation about history led to Jennifer falling fast in
love. For three years she resided in New Mexico, 'the land of enchantment', with her fiance Mike. Recently they moved to Austin, TX where she actively pursues a passionate life and reminds herself daily to...

Occupation
While residing in Albuquerque for three years, Jennifer served as Dir. Online Marketing at Fishbone Marketing. Currently, she resides in Austin, TX where she works in Account Service at a leading web development firm, Springbox.


Interests

Jennifer is a proud mother of
two pugs, Oates (named after John Oates) and Douglas. Both dogs are rescue pugs from New Mexico Pug Rescue. She manages a Pug humor site to eventually help raise money towards causes that support adoption of adult dogs.
